Whiteness

So right now I am watching the Last Emperor. It is about, of course, the Last Emperor of China. It's pretty good and the weird thing is that I am watching it on video. Like a cassette...a little old shall we say? Anyways, it's a pretty good movie so far. Even though it is over 20 years old, it's worth watching!

It's a snow day! It's very white outside and I can barely see anything. I have heard it is possible for us to more than a foot of snow!!! I don't know, is it possible for us to have a delay tomorrow?

Photos

I am sick of typing. In fact, I think I will be done after this post. You ask why? I was in Boston Saturday night for my aunts 50th birthday celebration. Everybody stayed overnight at a hotel and we stayed up late... I came back home at around 2pm today. I unpacked and watch videos on youtube for about 30 minutes. Then, I started working on a project for LA. I haven't stopped until now. Yep, it's crazy. I am sick of it!
Anyways, I have been starting to like photographs. Like, looking on websites and typing in something on the search bar and looking at all different types of photos. I even made a bookmark with all of these cool photo-sharing-getting sites (if you know what I mean). It's pretty awesome. And by the way, CONGRATS Liz, Valentine, Colby, and Ellen on a fantastic job
at the play, even though I wasn't there, I heard it was GREAT!!!!

Here's a photo from every site I bookmarked!!!!

New Again

Sorry this picture is so random, but it is adorable! I couldn't get it to the bottom!
As you can see, I have changed my Template. The other one was a little weird and I didn't "get" it. I am so happy today is a day off. I have homework and I just want to relax. So sorry for the short post.

Toodles!

Cultural Food

Hello everyone.
Just in case you have not noticed, I have changed the official font for this blog. Lucida Grande got a little boring. I have changed it to Georgia. I like it much better. Anyways, yesterday after my gymnastics meet, I went out to lunch/dinner with Trendless Trendsetter. I had been there before, so my parents and I recommended it to her family. It is called Las Olas and it is amazingly yummy. As I was eating my chicken burrito and drinking my guava soda, I was thinking, wow, Spanish Speaking people/countries have really good food. Then I got on a roll...How in Paris (French Speaking) have more delicate, fancy food, more like bread and chocolate that fits well with a night out in the town, more romantic. Where Mexicans have more party food, like Iyeeeeeeeeeee. They have the more flavorful food. Italians have more pasta (Go Carbs!!!!) and meat. Japanese have more rice, and from what I have heard, Chinese and Japanese food doesn't taste the least bit similar in America than in Japan. If you have any Foriegn Food you like or if you want to comment on my food critiquees, go right ahead.

Your Now Hungry(ish) Friend,
Lucy
P.S. Check out Valentine's post, it's pretty cool.
P.P.S Where did everybody but Valentine and Liz go?? I miss these posts!!1

New Year...

Hey everyone.
Welcome to Footprints in the Sand 2009, New and Improved. Just Kidding!
Happy New Year, even though it's a little late.
Anyways, I have a Snow Day today!!!!!!
It's not very snowy, but I think it's a little icy.
So, my friends, enjoy the day off. And think about it, we are basically the only school in Maine that only has 1 snow day because we had December 12th as a conference day, and the other schools didn't. Hopefully the power won't go out this time!!!!
